Question about 1990 Ford F250
I purchased another ford f-250 recently and the trans. will not shift on its own. I have to manualy shift it every time i come to a stop. 1st, 2nd, and O-D. Also i have no overdrive. Well that didn't last long. I have another f-250 service truck that has the same trans. in it, that i new shifted and worked perfectly. I replaced the bad trans. with the service trucks trans. and i still have the same problem as before? I bought 2 books on the truck and they are no help to me concerning this problem. I thought since it work fine in the service truck it should also in the other truck. same trans. both f-250 ones a 1989 service truck and the other is a 1990 f-250 exstended cab. can anybody help shine some light on my problem? Thankyou!!
