Question about 1993 Buick Skylark
I have replaced the electric ignition switch twice in the last 4 months. When I replaced the switch the first time, my a/c would not turn off when I turned the car off. This killed my battery and caused me to replace the ignition switch again. This time, my alarm (the "dinging" sound) stays on even when I close my door. Also, my aftermarket radio stopped working. I rewired the system and got the radio to work by connecting the switched 12volt wire and the constant 12volt wire with the yellow wire and red wire on the cd player wire harness. It worked for a while, but now my ABS light stays on and the radio will not power up. PLEASE HELP
Check the ignition wire in the steering column the wire has to touch ing metal in there/ the part is evering in the column has a lot of control that is runn off those switches inside that column believe it or not I know your thinking how but it does/ Please rate my response thank you very much
