Heater motor run when car is shut off

sounds like electrics issue. the heater fan should be connected to the ignition switched circuit, not the constant power circuit.

if this is not resolved it will cause your car battery to go flat if fan is left on.

sounds like you need to take this to a garage to sort

If the 30amp blower fuse has power, and you can run power to the blower motor and it runs, I would say its the blower relay or the control switch on the dash. The control switch provides power to turn the blower relay on. The fan switch provides the ground circuit.

Have a 1996 Ford Taurus .... The blower fan has quit working and now it is over heating . Also have no ac working , there are no leaks that i can see . Could this be a fuse ?

Its either the fuse, the temperature sensor or the fan motor.

I'd check out the fuse first, probably the easiest issue to resolve.

I have s 2001 Chrysler town and country just replaced the radiator and now two months later I'm getting a p1491 how do I resolve this issue

Check fuse for fan relay in fuse box under hood. If fuse is good then you need to replace fan relay sender to pass your inspection.

Once cooling fan comes on it wont turn off until you turn key off

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

If that's the case then the problem can be on the cooling fan sensor. If the sensor is faulty issues like this occur. I strongly suggest that you have it replaced to resolve the problem.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

Inside fan not working, already checked inside fuse box...anything i can check myself?

I worked on a S-10 and that was one of the issues I needed to resolve and like you, I tried the fuse and it was not the issue. What did work was actually unplugging the fan switch and plugging it back in. Sometimes the connection can be lost, and if the fan motor is not getting the command then it cannot turn on. The other possibility is that the fan switch is burnt out and needs replacing, and that can be easily obtained at your local Chevrolet dealer or a junkyard or craigslist. Hope that helps

Vibration noise from cabin ventilation fan

Pull the fan motor and look for debris. Sounds like a balance issue. Test the unit on a bench. If cleaning will not resolve, replace the unit.

The radiator fan is working fine but the temperature sensor i dont know its locationmy car start overheating sometimes i need help.

The best way to get the exact location for the Temp sensor would be the Haynes Repair manual. As far as your overheating issue goes I would replace the Thermostat and see if that resolves the issue. Make sure the radiator has the correct amount of antifreeze in it.

Car overheats, replaced fan motor, replaced relay, fan will still not operate

check fuses and any fusible links in the harness.

If this doesn't resolve the issue, then taking the car to an auto electric shop is next to chase the wires and see if there is a break somewhere.

This can be time consuming.

Over Heating Issue

First step would be to get a Wiring Schematic/Diagram for your car, which may be a little hard if its a 2007. Once you've acquired one, you should check the wiring to the Fan, from the Temperature sensor, to the Fan Relay, down to the fan itself. Check for voltage and resistance of all wires involved to try to pinpoint a break in wires, or a short to power/ground in one of them too.
