1992 ford f150 is spitting fire through the exhaust
Does it crank over and not fire if so check for spark if tou have spark check the fuel rail for a tire valve looking device if cap is still on remove and press shrader valve while someone cranks engine if you have no fuel spraying out of this in great volume check fuses for fuel pump try swaping fuel pump relay with horn relay if these things do not work look under or just above carpet line on passengerside floorboard in center area near heater box for the inertia switch if red button can not be pushed unplug and jump plug with small wire and crank over if it starts this is your problem if you do not hear fuel pump at this point fuel pump is bad

its the exhaust manafold gasket or the donut gasket in the exhaust pipe, proably the donut gasket.. its a part you can pick you for about $15.. good luck keith...

I'd try cleaning the throttle body, and replacing the coolant temp switch. Hope this helps

try replacing the fuel pump sensor and the ignition sensor. In my 94 ranger they in a fuse box right behind the battery. They are small black pull cubes. Ask a part store which one they are if you find them. I just had mine fixed at a ford dealer. Simple fix if it is the problem. John from Oregon

If you are standing at the front of your vehicle the left side would be the passenger side front is 1234....drivers side front to back 5678.
Firing order is as follows 13726548. If you don't understand this let me know and I will get you a pic.

Trace wires coming from switch and at wiper motor - I suspect a wire has chaffed through and is shorting across. With age wires get brittle and rub through. Check closely at where wires go through bulk-heads
