Hi from the uk first thing to check is fuse? in fuse/relays box if you check handbook it will identify location and amp of fuse? if fuse ok? then find horn and check wire connection is clean/secure then have someone hold horn button on whilst you tap the actual horn body? if horn works momentarily then ? the horn is faulty you can obtain horn from motor stores not dealers if you want to ? and diy the job no problem if horn is not readily visible ? check under front wheel arches? and in font of radiator below front cross member brace above rad n/s or o/s? hope one of these suggestions help you and inspires to diy best wishes from uk

Saturn Keep blowing horn fuse

Could be a short in the steering wheel or column. Or a faulty horn relay.
You may need a wiring diagram to trace the circuits from the relay.
Usually the black wire is the ground and the green is voltage from the relay.

I have a 2007 ford explorer, when i step on the gas the truck barely goes until i get to about 20-30 mph then it will go faster. So I just went to advanced auto's to get the vehicle scanned and it came...

no real speed until 20 mph indicates your transmission is starting in 2nd gear. this would be the ab/c solenoid code. try starting off and manually pulling the shift lever down into 1 at approx 15mph bump it to 2 then at 20 25 bump to drive, if trans shifts under these conditions, you do have a bad solenoid, some solenoids can be replaced just by removing trans pan, without removing valve body. It should still be under warranty.
Could be the horn or the relay.

Horn randomly honks(very annoying while your trying to sleep) HELP!

its possible that the relay is the problem as most relays have a second power feed wire,if it shorts to the horn side of the relay it can blow the horn.doesn`t happen very often but it does happen.this could explain the horn blowing without the fuse can get a door key made at a lock smith to solve that problem.

Where can I find my honk sensor in a 2006 Ford Focus? or How to fix my honk in a 2006 Ford focus? The honk is not working?

I believe there are 2 wires to the horn. One is power all the time, and the other is ground through the steering column wire to the horn button on the steering wheel, when it grounds out when pushed.
If it is a single wire to the horn, then there is a relay.

My horn doesn't work. How do i fix it myself?

Three components, horn, relay, and switch. Find the horn, most likely next to the radiator and behind the grill. Disconnect the plug and jumper it directly to the battery or any 12V source, if it honks it is good. If it does not honk then get a replacement at a parts store or at a junkyard if you want the plug to connect with no wiring changes. If it does honk, then you need to find your fuse panel and replace the horn relay, they are cheap and again are sold at parts stores. If that does not fix it then the switch is the bad guy and it is in the steering wheel. You do not want to mess with that as it has the airbag in it. So you live with it, buy a push button wire it in to the circuit and stick it on the dashboard, or pay a dealer to replace the switch.

I tried to honk the horn and it did one normal, short honk and went silent. I'd like to fix it myself as mechanics are super expensive in this country.

check fues first , if it is o.k, check for voltage at terminal on horn when the horn bttom is depressed, if there is voltage at each terminal, check for a bad earth at the horn.if the earth is good, replace the horn.
