Pull the gas tank out, that is a straight forward job but not easy, you will need help and a good floor jack to support the tank and jack stands to get it up in the air as far as possiable, these things are a must.

How can I remove fuel filter?

Well I was thinking this was going to be a fairly easy question to answer.

Nope.

Unfortunately the fuel filter appears to be part of the "fuel pump module" located inside of the fuel tank itself.

Here's a video showing what all is involved.

So unless you're willing and able to go through all of this be prepared to pay someone a fairly hefty sum to get it changed.

Here's a link confirming the filter is part of the fuel pump module.

Sorry. I wish it was easier.

There is no fuel reset button on Chevy vehicles . I suggest you watch this video on fuel pump relay testing . GM Fuel Pump Relay Testing Because this is what is involved in trouble shooting fuel pump systems on GM vehicles !

FUEL PUMP NOT WORKING. WHAT IS INVOLVED TO CHANGE IT

the fuel pump is inside of the gas tank , you will have to drop the tank, and disconnect the connections and take the top cover off, on the inside is the pump.

HOW TOO CHANGE OUT FUEL PUMP ON S-10 95 MODEL

Hi:
To change the fuel pump, you need to drain and lower your gas tank. This involves a bit of work, as the tank is long. After you get the straps loose, and the fuel lines and harness disconnected, lower the tank to the ground, and the fuel pump/ sending unit assembly is removed from the top side of the tank.
