There are two likley probs. the ignition module or the crank shaft posistion sensor. both of these are very prone to failure. it is very hard for the shop to diog the prob when it does not act up in the garage. good luck also if you can check your fuel pressure when it wont start. if no pressure your prob lies there. the pump probley the problem. the hotter they get the harder it is to start the pump.

98/88 delta oldsmoble cuts off while driving what could it be

The warning lights on the dash will come on when the engine dies.
If it dies and starts up like you turned the key it could be a relay or other electrical problem. May be tough to find if you can't test components while it is not starting.
I assume the check engine light is not on when the engine is running.

Blower motor stays on even with key out 1994 olds ninety eight with climate control

You need a blower motor resistor. If you have automatic temp control be prepared to spend a few dollars getting one. They put the resistor under the fuse panel by the firewall.

FUEL PUMP MAYBE? is it common?

yes it is very likely it is a fuel pump sticking, to verify this buy a can of spray starter fluid, next time it won't start spray the starter fluid into theintake air hose on the engine, if it starts and then quickly shuts down u need a fuel pump, also replace the filter.

First there are 2 screws behind the steering wheel they are hex or phillips
take them out and it come s out then you need a socket to remove the nut and a puller to take the wheel off. Once you are to that point it is very complicated.
