How do you change the in dash clock light on a jaguar xj8
To replace the clock light you will have to 1st remove the center console and then the dash wood trim, and cluster display...then the airbag wood trim. Then once this is removed you will have to remove the center ac vent.It is held by 4 screws on each corner...once its removed, becauseful to raise it and unplug the clock power plug...as you life it up you will see the bulb access, its a small green bulb that is spring loaded by turning it counter clockwise.Remove it and install new bulb.
I suggest check in the Owners Manual.
SOURCE: Is it difficult to replace spark plugs in a Jaguar XJ8
Your car does not have plug leads so that will save you a job,the spark plugs are fairly easy to do tho.
Open the bonnet, either side of the engine at the top there are 2 black covers bolted to the top of your engine, bolted to those are 2 smaller covers, remove the 2 smaller covers which will reveal your ignition coils, remove the ciols and your spark plugs are there.
You will have to remove the air filter assembly tho on the right hand side which is easy enough, remove the bolts from pipe at the rear middle of engine, undo the clips which houses the filter and disconnect the engine breather pipe.Re assemble in reverse order,
N.B the spark plugs dont want tightening too tight..or too loose, when the plug nips up just give it a little nip again..GOOD LUCK
SOURCE: I have a 1999 Jaguar XJ8, there is a Check Engine
the gas gauge is not related, that would be a defective gas gauge sending unit in the gas tank, the check engine light indicates that one of around 200 poss faults has occured in the electronic engine controls, you will need to have the OBD 2 engine control system tested for the fualt code that is stored when the light is turned on.

SOURCE: AC BLOWER NOT BLOWING
The resistor that controls the blower motor. it is a small gadget that has a 2 or 3 wire plug . Replacing the resistor should fix your problem. It is on or near the blower motor. Under the dash. Not easy to remove . But it can be. Please give thumbs up if helped.
SOURCE: My 2004 Jaguar xj8 will not release both latches
If your bonnet will not release, there is a rubber plug inside fender located up in
the wheel well under the latch. Remove the plug, stick a screwdriver up and pry the latch
back. The hood / bonnet will open.
