Question about Mercedes-Benz 190-Class
Pontiac Vibe 2005 - While driving a chime sounded. No reference in manual to what the chime means. No service lights came up on dash.
It happened 3 times. Twice was a single chime and Once while turning. That time the chime sounded three times.

get an extra seatbelt claspmale end and put it in the female end this way you don't have to altar the car in anyway just unclasp it when your ready to sell your car.

Your door might be closed but the door switch plunger is telling the computer is ajar.
Suggest you start with that door switch. If that don't cure it, send me a note.
You also need to check your ignition cylinder switch. Maybe the contacts are worn out.
There is a harness under the driver seat, mostly for the hand break, but check it out make sure its grounded properly. Some of this problems are caused by poor ground. In your case I can be more specific, but let me know first where you able to correct it, by checking the door switch.

This is basically the door chime that stays on. I had the same problems in a couple Ford trucks. the only easy solution it to find where the chime speaker is on your expedition and disconnect it. It should be somewhere behind where your stereo is.
