Also head gasket blow fix it and a bunch of other gasket to go with it put it. no blow head runs fine when driving just when coming to a stop
You could have a high fuel pressure problem and when holding the throttle all the way to the floor you put the system in flood mode which shuts off the injectors to burn off excess fuel in the engine.and when you release the throttle the system returns to normal.when driving you could be using the fuel that is being over supplied at the speed your driving.also the egr valve could be stuck open causing the engine to stall at idle.something to check out.

Hi
You did not specify if its petrol or Diesel I am assuming it is diesel. It might be the glow plugs. Get them checked as you will need these to get it started. If its petrol its a different issue. It might be the ignition coil (no spark) coming to the distributor. Whichever the type of car make sure that there is fuel coming to the engine. In the case of diesel you should have a primer rubber fuel pump which you press in order to bring fuel to the engine.
Hope this was of help to you :)
Thanks

there is an idle control valve and an air flow meter that should be checked.check all the wiring harness and connectors to the crank and cam sensors.

It may be a dirty air cleaner or a dirty Idle Airflow Valve . The IAC can be cleaned by taking off the duct work that goes from the air assembly to the fuel injector hole. The valve is to one of the sides of the hole just inside. You will see two small holes. Buy some card cleaner and with your engine running at about 1300 rpm spray the cleaner directly into these holes. Spray for a good 10 seconds. Stop the engine and let the cleaner soak in. Repeat this about 4 times. If it still idles rough it may be the Idle position sensor or you have to replace the IAC.
