Why does my car not start ? Even if you try to jump it.

If the starter motor will not turn the engine over then you will need to track issues with the electrical connections to the starter solenoid, and connections between the solenoid and the starter motor. If there is no issue with the power supply to the starter motor then you may have a faulty starter solenoid or faulty starter motor.

One way or the other you are going to have to have a mechanic go over the car and investigate and locate the issue. There are no easy fixes or simple answers to what your particular no crank/ no start problem is.

Car starting

Check that the battery terminals and posts are shiny clean and tight . Check that all leads are tight . If you have relay in the starter system have it checked out . IF all is good then pull the starter and have an accredited auto electrician check for solenoid failure and a dry joint in the armature windings on the bars.. If it is occasionally with a dry joint if the starter stops spinning and that bar is partially or completely under a brush there is no circuit to turn the armature.. By repeated attempts to start you eventually get the armature to turn enough so that the brush is now making good contact with a new bar and so it goes.

Drove car, the next morning car dont turn over but all lights and horn is working

you may still need to try a boost from another car.it may still not have enough of a charge to turn starter. any clicking at all when you attempt to start? if this does'nt work, look under hood in black main fuse box, lift cover off box.under the cover you should see locations of certain fuses and relays. check for bad starter relay or fuse, also check for a main ecm fuse bad and a bad main engine fuse bad. the only other alternative is bad starter. don't know how mechanically inclined you are but if a starter going bad, sometimes you can get one last start out of a bad starter by tapping on it while someone holds key in start position. do not attempt if you're not mechanically inclined as there are very high voltage wires going to the starter that you don't want to accidently hit and short out! hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com

My car won't start. No ignition at all. I had the battery charged. Still it won't start. My friend said that I should clean the starter. Where do you think this located? How to get this started with?

First i do not know how to clean a starter ?? You might check the batery posts but you said you had the battery charged so I assume the posts are clean. Is the engin turning over if not it is probley the starter relay this might be on the fire wall but what you need is a mechanic to come and look at it and see if jumping the celiond will get it to turn over. check the posts are clean did you just turn it off one day and soon after it mjust would not start ??

Mazda 626 i am turning key nothing happening , checked starter, earth, lights coming on on dash, clock fades when turning key.

It is possible that your starter motor is stuck. First of all you can place your vehicle in the 2nd gear and push to disengage the starter if it had the bendex stuck. there after try to start. If not you will need to remove the starter motor. carefully do remove and place it on a table . clean off all dirt, then open the motor carefully. you can even test the motor with a heavy power cord and the battery but please be very careful to hold or use a good vice grip to hold since the intial torque can make it slip from your hand. thereafter check the brushes and the bush / bearings. if damaged or wobbly change / replace. Now you can reset the starter motor and test.
I am sure it will work. Good day

Need a starter

It depends on the location of the starter. Mine is difficult but you have to know a little mechanics in order to do this, if no experience well tough luck. Now, in order to start a problem start, try tapping the starter with a hammer or metal pipe, you might need to get under the car or raise it enough to access the starter, raise it safely!! don't be afraid to hit it hard beucause you can have a stuck piston inside that needs to be freed. CAUTION bad starters can cause damage to the fly wheel!!!!

1994 S10 Blazer Tahoe starting problems

Well, obviously someone didn't tell you the truth because spraying into intake doesn't make the vehicle turn over any better. You have ignition or fuel delivery problem. Start by taking fuel line off at intake and crank engine a couple times catching any gas in a cup or something. If none, then trace fuel line back and under vehicle til you find filter. Should be under driverside midway back on inside of frame. Change this and try test again. If no gas, see if fuel pump is on motor(mechanical pump). Change this and test again. If not on motor then it's in gas tank(electric pump). Most cases the tank has to be lowered to take out pump, careful not to drop, dent or make sparks. Some came with access through the floor so check that first. Normally you can hear an electric pump come on when you turn the key. Good Luck
