It means it is not set for USA what you do is with the car running and the radio off turn on the radio and within2 sec hold down the m button hold it till it goes into the next screen from there scroll to the left or the right till you come across the area section and change it to USA you can play around with the other stuff too while you are in there such things like signal streangth

What does TI symbol on radio of BMW 535i mean

  • TI and TI+ stand for "Traffic Information". The letters are shown in the status line of the Control Display whenever a RTTI signal is received by the vehicle. Starting with March 2007 production, BMW has changed the text from "TI+" to "TI" to simplify the display. For BMW's made in 2009 and later 1, 3 and 7 Series as well as Z4, TI means that the service is enabled, even though broadcast and/or content coverage may not be available in the area you are currently driving. In short ti on your head unit (radio) means that you are able to receive traffic information should you want to.

  • Hope this helps.

The original radio and wipers of 1998 BMW 3181just went off.

Check your fuses. If moisture or a power surge happen recently it's pretty common. NOTE have your radio code handy, you'll need that to get radio up and running.

Remove radio 2003 bmw 325i

Go to an auto parts store and get a Haynes repair manual for your vehicle and look up disassembly of the dash board area. That will be the best solution to getting that radio out.
