Question about 2005 Honda CR-V
I'm sure this has come up but I cannot find it. I had to have my battery replaced and the word "CODE" was displayed. My daughter, being the 12-year old that she is, pressed all sorts of buttons and apparently I'm locked out. I did find my card with the security access code and the instruction booklet says to leave the power on for an hour for it to reset...an hour and a half later, nothing. Any advice?
I had the same issue with the radio code error lock on a 2005 CRV. I was unaware of the code procedure and had locked the radio in the "ERROR E" mode. I was able to unlock the radio by pulling the #9 back up fuse located in the fuse box in the engine compartment. This reset the radio to CODE which then allowed me to input the 5 digit number which I had in my glove box along with my owner's manual. I am happy to report I now have a working radio/ CD player.

Same problem with 2002 Honda CR-V. Could not find security access code. Drove around for about two weeks staring at that Code message. Called dealership. Code was posted inside glove box. Could see it sitting in drivers seat with glove box open. Pushed all the radio buttons for the umpteenth time. Code demanded to be entered. Entered code and it worked immediately. Never knew about reset time.

Instead I found an alternate solution to the need for cut power to reset the radio code error lock. If you turn the ignition to the accessory position (engine NOT running) and leave the locked radio ON for 1 hour, the radio error lock will reset and you will then be able to enter the correct code for restoring radio function for my 2002 Honda Odyssey.
