It should be in the front left inboard brake pad. You jack up the car, remove the front left wheel, and pull it out of the top of the brake pad backing plate. there is a metal spring clip around it that holds it in there snugly, but it should pull out. Then unthread the wire back up to the little box where the plug is. Be carefull pulling the plug apart. Don't pull it by the wires or you may pull the plug off the end of the wire on the car side, and you will end up soldering the new sensor (and all subsequent sensors) onto the wire,
Are you replacing the sensor without replacing the pads? Why?
Fixed it myself. I checked power and ground on fuel pump, then w/rubber mallet I banged the fuel tank and the fuel pump went on for a few seconds while someone cranked car, it started for arou 20 -30 seconds. This helped me diagn. the problem and I put in a new fuel assembly.\
Did you fix this yet? Are you getting fuel to the plugs? Try starting the car, then remove one of the plugs. Check for the smell of fresh gasoline. You could also try smelling the exhaust to see if there is a fresh unburt gasoline smell. If your getting fuel, then the fuel system is probably not the problem. Are you getting spark to the plugs? After you replaced the Distributor, did you adjust the timing?
