well..fuel injection systems are more than the electronic part. I suspect you are dealing with compression or injector fouling issues..

You are mis fireing on cyl 1 and 3 if you replaced plugs and wires and coil this is going to be a fuel injector issue or valve issue. See if you can swap the injectors with known good cyl. and see if it changes. Or have a shop do a fuel injector service on it to see if it helps. It may be to late for the fuel injector service.

Whats causing my truch to vigoriously shake when idoling and between 50 to 60?

A misfire should have Coded on the check engine light. You have 2 systems for each cylinder. Gas and spark. A dirty injector can cause a miss. A bad plug, wire, or coil on plug (if this truck has the newer system) can cause a miss.

You can try a new injector for the one cylinder and see if that helps. Really depends on which engine you have for difficulty in getting to the plugs. The 5.4 series had deep boring for plugs and there are books about this problem. I believe the coil on plug type coil has a resistence of 10,000 Ohms from the top terminal to the base of this coil. It may need to be benchchecked.

As your service light did not work, perhaps you should find out if its lightbulb is missing. I hope my solution is helpful.

[email protected] have a 2004 cavalier with the 2.2 eng the check eng light stay on an it alos blinks..the car has a miss in it while idiling or accelerating but at a stedy speed it runs fine an has good...

well the light is blinking because of the misfire it is setting a P0300 engine missfire detected, a plugged fuel injector will cause that misfire or a incorrectly gapped spark plug, also a bad egr valve will cause a rough idle and acceleration problems.but for a correct fix with out throwing parts at it will have to be done by a pro

Misfire in two cylinders

Check to see if the two cylinders misfiring are on the same coil pack. If so, change the coil pack in question.

This happened to me on 1997 Cadillac Deville Limousine.

Also, check for a blown head gasket with compression test.

Got a little miss and check engine light is on

Sound like you need a minor ignition tune-up. I will take an educated guess and say that if you were to have the codes read from the ECM (engine control module) they would be P0300 to P0306 which would mean you have an engine misfire. You can go to one of your local consumer automotive parts houses and have the codes read for no charge (because they want to sell you some parts) and go from there. Sounds like a set of ignition plugs and ignition wires may fix your problem. Pay close attention to the firing order of the ignition wires before you remove them if you do it yourself. Firing order on top of ignition coil pack. Good luck

Reduced power light/check engine runs very rough 2005 ion

usually when it gets colder outside the car will misfire and run rough because the ignition module/coil pack goes bad and makes it misfire, youre gonna have to replace the coil and module,,its the black long piece that sits on top of the spark plugs,1 wire connector and 4 10mm bolts remove them and pull up hard to pop the plug boots off the spark plugs, then install the new parts and you should be ok
