Like a dustbin ,if you remove the silencer it will run rough and lose the fuel economy the first silencer ?? does this vehicle have a cat all europeon cars from 92 were cats so this first box could be the cat .Also it will not pass the annual mechanical inspection and you could render yourself liable for a fine and points on licence for a noisy vehicle

I drive a VW mk1, 1987 model AND a Hyundai accent 1997 model.

I would not recommend this for many reasons. First, there are physical considerations. Are the bolt holes the same? Are the shocks the same length both when fully compressed and when fully extended. But most important is the characteristics of the shocks. Shocks are designed to be compatible with the handling characteristics of the car. How stiff or soft are they in both compression and rebound. Mismatched shocks can affect a car's handling to the point of making it dangerous to drive. Don't do it.

How to wire in vw abf engine 2.0L 16v in to fuse box.

You'll need to use the wiring from the 2.0L motor. Your best bet is to get Bentley manuals for the car the motor came from and for yours. They have very very detailed wiring diagrams, to do the swap.

Have a 1982 VW Rabbit conv. The heater fan blows then stops.

Sounds like the resistor has blown from what you say... this is the 4" long Green ceramic bit on the heater blower motor... you can buy them seperately.

But.. watch out, the switch on the dash on Mk1 Golfs / Caddys are very common

Lloyd
