What size is the #11 fuse?

My guesstimate is that they are referring to the ignition coil. That is involved in providing high voltage to the spark plugs. If the coil has a short this would blow the fuse.

What causes the 30 amp starter/HBL fuse to blow?

USA car?
what engine , gas or diesel.,what size is it?
where is fuse located, Green = 30amp
in the cab, no ,no 30amp in cab. so is below.
or in the PCD box under hood,
here is PDC,
here is fuse f15, which i think is HBL
diesel HBL is f15
gas HBL is f11

fuse 11 is 3 up from bottom right. gas only.
fuse 7 is 30amp too in pDC
and runs headlamp controls or DRL, got DRL
fuse 8 diesel? see fuse 7 answer gas.
in canada, they have DRL , daylight running lights.
we dont.
but fuse 7 30a runs that.
PDC fuse 4 30am runs ASD and if blown diesel engine dies.

HBL is fuse 15 or F11
or is Fuse 7 or 8.
which blew, ive not a clue,

Vehicle information Center and radio fuses keep blowing at the same time. 96 jeep grand Cherokee limited. Help !

the fuse has only so many loads no actual fuse stated.by you.
there are more than one fuse related to a radio, besides the one marked RAD. so... why not tell the exact fuse.......????

we disconnect each to find the one that is shorted.
the fuse prevents the wire fire, so... do not up the amps.
ZJ , jeep it is. 96

fuses 3
FB 12 (fused dimmer to radio and other places
FB 15 main radio power,(run -acc)
PDC 17 dome lights and radio memory wire....

you need to know what fuse, then look in the FSM
and see all things wired to that fuse.
the starting page is
8w-47-2 (radio) (posted 100s of times)

http://www.morris4x4center.com/knowledge-base/index.htm?utm_source=cj#service

does fuse hold if radio is disconnected?????
lets pretend fuse 12 blows
see page 8w-11-8 fuse 12, feed.
the next page covers fuse 15....
see?
you need to look at all feed wires to the fuse that blows
that includes options, and aftermarket hacks to car.

When i go to start my car i blow the #11 fuse located under the hood, what does #11 fuse go to?

Hi Aaron, I'm glad to help!
Aaron, see if the fuse blows when you turn the key to the on position without trying to start it. If it does then it could be anything on that circuit. NOTE: If in fact it only blows when you try to start the engine then your problem is in the "START-RUN-CIRCUIT" which mean you have a dead short in either the wiring or something on that circuit. If you find it is on the start run circuit then disconnect the starter and see if it still blows the fuse. CAUTION: When disconnecting the starter always unhook the negative battery cable first then rap the power wire with a rag or tape so it doesn't ground out on the engine and cause more problems. Now that you've disconnected and rapped the starter wires reconnect the negative battery cable and try to start the engine, if the fuse doesn't blow then replace the starter. If the fuse does blow then reconnect the starter remembering my caution. NEXT: Disconnect the Alternator using caution and try to start the engine if it blows the fuse replace the alternator, if it doesn't blow the fuse then you have a direct short in the wiring somewhere in that circuit. Start looking for frayed wiring that could be grounding out on the engine. Hope this help and have an awesome day Aaron.

2002 pt cruiser fuse #11 blown

According to my diagram, number 11 is a 10amp fuse that powers the ac clutch relay. I don't see how it would keep the engine from starting.
Is the fuse you are talking about in the engine compartment box and is it a 10amp ?

Blowing fuses jeep wont start

use a circuit breaker or paper clip with pliers so you do not burn yourself use paper clip as fuse unplug engine controll sensors 1 at a time and check if problem is gone after each one is unplugged an engine controll sensor is most likely shorting out if you have a map sensor try that first then move on to other components tps, fuel pump ect. till you find wich is fauly causeing short this should help you just be carefull with paperclip am saying to do this instead of blowing expensive fuses

97 jeep cherokee blows fuse #11

I think fuse 11 is transmission control module, powertrain control module, automatic shutdown relay, fuel pump relay.. most likely it could be an issue with the wirings from the tranny. Check this one out before opening the conduit

Jeep keeps blowing auto shutdown fuse

Yes I had the same problem. The wires that plug into the sensor at the catatytic converter were rubbing against the drive shaft untill they finally wore through causing the short against drive shaft. repaired wires and it fixed everything
