i just had the same problem. it's the ignition or starter switch. I changed it myself. it's located in the steering column just behind the steering wheel. I know it sounds crazy, I questioned it myself. But a friend of mine works on these cars and he told me that was what i needed. I was hesitant but got the part. (30 bucks) and sure enough... no problems since.

Possible stripped gears or the gears are not making contact. I would replace the wiper motor. If you can, and I am not sure, you might be able to replace just the gears. But given how new the car is, I am sure it comes as an "all in one" unit. It is possible to seatch www.car-part.com and see if there is a salvage yard around your area that has one cheap.

If your car is under 36000 miles take it to your dealer and have it fixed under your warrenty. All of your interior electrical systems are controled by computors and sometime not a simple repair ! The dealer has the tools to monitor different switch states to aid in isolating the problem. Just guessing if its a switch or a computor or a wiring issue can get very costly.
