Fuel injected engines don't need to be pumped before starting, if you do flooding can occur. Make a conscious effort NOT to touch the pedal until after you turn the key to the start position and the engine actually starts.
have you checked for any air locks in the fuel lines these can be caused when new parts are installed or fuel tank is ran dry. i had this problem on my golf and originally thought the cause was dirty fuel. i bought a bleeder pump that attached to the filter and bled the air out. priming if you like.
-Possibly the battery is not strong enough to crank. Try high
CCA battery. For example now the one you have has CCA 750
How about change to the maximum that they carry.
I have a 2002 dodge 3500 diesel and just replaced the lift pump and thr fuel filter . I blead the pump and it stared right up, but Ishut it off and now I cant get it to turn over.
change the themostat when you remove the old themostat you should see it stuck in the open postion . before i install the new one i fill the the block with coolant install the new stat run the mtr and heater core until hot iwould also replace the cap
