Question about 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche
My vehicle when I start it does not always start on the first turn of the key.and sometimes it does, I was told that it was the fuel pressure regulator located on the fuel rail going to the injectors.. Can anyone tell me if this is a for certain solution? ? ? I also was told its about a 20 dollar fix..
That is called an intermittent problem. these are the most difficult to diagnose. you have to look at several things before coming to a definte conclusion. does it do it when the engine is hot ? Or when it is cold ? Does it do it all the time or sometimes ? Changing one part at a time can eventually lead you to the right part. But parts cost money. the best way to find out is if you can have it code scanned at the time it does not start. Then go from there. I hope you can resolve your problem. But don't waste your money installing one part then another etc.
