If you smell antifreeze in the vents, you have a bad heater core. If not, it a sign that the coolant system is either low on antifreeze or has a blocked coolant vent passage.

Buick Park Avenue 1999. Little over 100k miles and started to hear a water sloshing sound from the dash. Is this a coolant system broblem 'couse it usually sloshes during the acceleration?

That is an interesting question. I experienced this once with a 1995 Taurus and it would sound like the ocean behind the dash on turns. It was a leaking radiator that caused air to get in the system as it leaked. I have also seen the drain plugs clogged for the air box during the summer that collected water due to condensation from the evaporator.

Check the coolant reservoir to see if it is at the correct level and also make sure the air box drain(s) is clear of debris. Although, if the air box is that full with liquid, it usually starts to poor out on the passenger floor so that would give you a better idea of what is happening if that is the case. I hope this gives you some Ideas of how to approach the problem.

I have a 2003 Buick LeSabre Ltd. with 165,000 miles. When I turn in one direction, it sounds like water or sand sloshing or flowing to one side of the car in the dash. It's quiet when I turn in the other...

Two possibilties. The A/C evaporator has a drain that might be plugged or hose came off. Second is the heater core might be leaking at the hose connections or internally.

2004 LeSabre Limited - Have a noise that sounds like water sloshing under the dash when making turns or sudden stops. Mechanic checked the A/C drain and claims it is clear. Any ideas?

Its the heater core. There is air in it allowing the coolant to splash inside it. You should bleed the cooling system. Its good to flush it out completely and refill it correctly.

I hear water sloshing around behind the glove box area. I hear it slosh like its cycling when I accelerate? I think I have a gasket leak in the heat maybe, but I have not seen any white smoke? The truck...

Sounds like the sloshing noise is water in the a/c-heater box. The drain is probably plugged. I don't think the sloshing noise is causing the ragged running problem.
