Tap on the starter with a small hammer or something. See if it starts then. The brushes in the starter may be sticking. By tapping the starter you dislodge the brushes and it should work. If it doesn't start still after tapping the starter, the starter is bad. But double check the wiring going to the starter. You may just have a bad wire. The wire you're looking for is a small one.

Won't start but the starter still clicks

This sounds like a dead or dying battery. Autozone or other car parts places will hook up an analyzer to determine if the battery can be restored.

If you're going to be deployed again invest in an AGM battery like Optima red top. Make sure its charged and take it out of the vehicle while deployed. Check charge again when you get back hook it up and you'll be good to go.

My 91 Honda Accord Ex will not turn on. It will not make any noise when i try to turn the ignition. I had my neighbor come jump start the battery and when i tried to turn the car on, it will make the noise...

If your getting nothing, even a dead battery will give you a few lights on the dash. It sounds to me like you have a ground issue. Dirty or disconnected grounds create issues of just suddenly nothing. Check the ground connection at the battery and the engine. also check the ground strap that goes between the engine and the fire wall.

Car won't start not the battery

Test the neutral safety switch but doing the following steps.

1)foot on brake
2)turn key to on position
3)shift lever to neutral (N)
4)start the engine
5)shift the lever to Park (P)

If the engine can start at N and not at park then it's the neutral safety switch.

No start condition

It sounds as if it could be the neutral safety switch. have you tried to start it in neutral instead of park?? If it starts in neutral just have the neutral safety switch replaced. I hope this helps.

Check the starter fuse. Could have popped, and would explain the trouble.

Hyundai Tiburon Won't Start

Possibly the alarm cut-off switch? or Ignition key switch (or wires) going bad?

But you mentioned you tried to jump start it and it did turn over?
IF so, you could have severe corrosion or loose connections of the battery cable both at the battery and at the termination points, such as ground and starter motor.
Check that the battery wires are tight and clean at the battery posts and at the other end.

Again the No lights suggests either the alarm cut-off, or an absolute disconnected battery cable.

Finally, it could be ignition fuse, Check fuses. Ignition key switch.

What makes this hard is that you suggest it would turn over with another battery connected. This makes no sense.

Good luck
