I want to repace the right rear wheel bearing , i have taken out the 4 bolts which taken the brakes apart but the axle dosnt want to pull out .

Put car in neutral, remove wheels, calipers and rotors, diff. cover. rotate carrier until you see wrist pin retaining bolt, remove bolt and slide out the wrist pin out of carrier. Next push axle inward to remove inner axle "C" retainer washer then slide axle out of tube. Then pry off axle seal and with slide hammer w/attachment remove axle bearing.
Adjustment
Check the backlash in bearing shaft direction and the axle hub deviation. Maximum for backlash should be 0.0020 in. (0.05mm) and for axle hub deviation 0.020 in. (0.05mm).

Adjust the parking brake.
Stabilize the suspension as follows :
Install the wheel(s).
Lower the vehicle and bounce it up and down several times to stabilize the rear suspension.
Raise the vehicle.
Remove the wheel.
Jack up the rear lower suspension armplacing a wood block in between. Apply a load to the suspension so that the lower suspension arm is plkaced in a horizontal position.
Fully tighten the No. 1 rear upper control arm assembly to 119 ft. lbs. (161 Nm).
Fully tighten the No. 1 rear suspension arm assembly to 70 ft. lbs. (95 Nm).
Fully tighten the No. 2 rear suspension arm assembly to 119 ft. lbs. (161 Nm).
Rear tire and wheel assembly

Removal & Installation
Remove the rear wheels.
Remove the 2 nuts and left stabilizer bar link. If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (5 mm) to hold the stud. Repeat for the right side.
Remove the 8 bolts, 2 No. 1 brackets and 2 bushings. Two types of bolts are used, so make sure the correct bolts are installed.
Remove the stabilizer bar.
To install:
Install the stabilizer bar.
Install the bushing and bracket with the 2 bolts and tighten to 14 ft. lbs. (19 Nm). Install the bushing to the inner side of the bushing stopper on the stabilizer bar.
Connect the stabilizer bar links and tighten the nuts to 29 ft. lbs. (39 Nm). Repeat for the right side.
Install the rear wheels.
Inspect and adjust rear wheel alignment.

then remove the bearing cap,, cotter pin, and nut from the spindle , ( you might want to replace the wheel bearing at the same time due to the bad axle ) remove the axle bolts,, and shock bolts, from the axle beam. remove axle beam assembly
On 4-door sedan, remove the package tray and vent duct.
On hatchback, remove the speaker grilles.
Disconnect the brake line from the wheel cylinder.
CAUTION Brake fluid contains polyglycol ethers and polyglycols. Avoid contact with the eyes and wash your hands thoroughly after handling brake fluid. If you do get brake fluid in your eyes, flush your eyes with clean, running water for 15 minutes. If eye irritation persists, or if you have taken brake fluid internally, IMMEDIATELY seek medical assistance.
Remove the brake line from the brake hose.
Disconnect the brake hose from its bracket on the shock absorber.
Loosen, but do not remove, the nut holding the suspension support to the shock absorber.
Unbolt the shock absorber from the rear arm.
Unbolt and extract the shock absorber from the body.
To install:
Attach the shock absorber to the body and tighten the 3 nuts to 17 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
Engage the shock absorber bracket with the carrier and install the hardware. Tighten the nuts to 119 ft. lbs. (162 Nm).
Tighten the center suspension support nut to 36 ft. lbs. (49 Nm). There is a bearing located under the suspension support dust cover. Remove the dust cover and pack the bearing with multi-purpose grease. Once packed, reinstall the dust cover.
The remainder of installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten each component to specifications.
Loosen the rear wheel lug nuts, raise the rear of the vehicle and support it safely. Block the front wheels.
Remove the rear wheels.
Using the proper size flare nut wrench, disconnect the backing plate hardware.
With a flare nut and a back-up wrench, disconnect the brake tube from the brake hose and use a small plastic container to collect the brake fluid.
Undo the clip and disconnect the brake hose from the shock absorber.
NOTE: Before the axle bolts are removed, the axle carrier must be supported with a jack.
Support the axle carrier with a floor jack and remove the mounting bolts and nut. Disconnect the axle carrier from the shock absorber.
Support the shock absorber firmly by hand and remove the three mounting nuts. Remove the shock absorber from the body.
To install:
Position the shock absorber onto the body and support it firmly by hand. Install the three nuts and tighten them to 23 ft. lbs. (31 Nm).
Attach the axle carrier to the shock absorber with the nuts and bolts. Tighten the nuts to 166 ft. lbs. (226 Nm).
The remainder of installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten each component to specifications.
On the 4-door sedan, remove the package tray and vent duct. On 1992-96 models, it will be necessary to remove the rear seat back.
On the hatchback, remove the speaker grilles.
On the wagon models remove the tonnue cover and rear seat back.
Loosen the rear wheel lug nuts, raise the rear of the vehicle and support it safely. Block the front wheels.
Remove the rear wheels.
Disconnect the brake hose and the ABS speed sensor from the shock absorber.
If equipped with ABS, disconnect the Load Sensing Proportioning Valve (LSPV) spring from the lower arm.
Disconnect the stabilizer bar link from the shock absorber.
Support the rear axle and loosen the 2 bolts from the lower end of the shock absorber.
From inside the vehicle, unbolt the upper support.

Lower the rear axle carrier and remove the two bolts.
Remove the shock absorber from the vehicle.
To install:
Install the shock absorber assembly onto the vehicle.
Connect the brake hose and the ABS speed sensor to the shock absorber.
Connect the stabilizer bar link to the shock absorber.
Install the wheel and tire assembly.
During installation, please observe the following tighten specifications:
Tighten the shock absorber-to-body bolts to 29 ft. lbs. (39 Nm).
Tighten the shock absorber-to-axle carrier nuts to 166 ft. lbs. (226 Nm) on 1988-91 vehicles and 188 ft. lbs. (255 Nm) on 1992-96 vehicles.
Tighten the suspension support-to-shock absorber nut to 36 ft. lbs. (49 Nm) on 1988-91 vehicles. On 1992-96 models, tighten the stabilizer bar link to shock absorber retainers to 47 ft. lbs. (64 Nm).
Install the rear seat back, vent duct and the package tray as required.
Its pretty simple.
1. take off wheel
2. take off brake caliper, caliper bracket, and rotor.
3. remove axle nut which secures axle into the bearing
4. should be 3 bolts on the flange which hold the whole wheel bearing/hub unit on.
5. reverse for reassembly
The wheel hub and bearing are all one assembly and are bout as a unit.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
Axle Shaft
NOTE: Whenever replacing the rear axle lubricant, use Rear Axle Lubricant XY-90-QL (ESP-M2C154-A) or equivalent. Removal CAUTION: The rear brake anti-lock sensor must be removed before the axle shafts are removed. The rear brake anti-lock sensor is bolted on the rear disc brake caliper anchor plate.
Raise vehicle to desired working height. Refer to Section 00-02 . Remove rear wheel (1007) and tire assembly. Remove rear disc brake calipers (2552) and rear disc brake rotors (2C026) .
Clean all dirt from area of axle housing cover with a wire brush and/or cloth.
Drain rear axle lubricant by removing the axle housing cover .
Push flanged end of the axle shafts toward the center of the vehicle and remove the rear axle shaft retaining u-washer from the button end of the axle shaft .
Remove axle shaft from the rear axle housing , being careful not to damage the inner wheel bearing oil seal (1177) and rear brake anti-lock sensor ring.
Installation NOTE: Check for presence of rear axle shaft o-ring (4A332) on the spline end of the shaft and install if not present. CAUTION: Care must be taken not to let axle shaft splines damage oil seal or bearing assembly.
Carefully slide axle shaft into rear axle housing without damaging rear wheel bearing (1225) or rear brake anti-lock sensor indicator (2C189) . Start splines into side gear and push firmly until the button end of axle shaft can be seen in the differential case .
Install the rear axle shaft retaining u-washer on the button end of the axle shaft splines, then pull the shaft outboard until the shaft splines engage and the rear axle shaft retaining u-washer seats in the counterbore of the differential side gear .
Position the differential pinion shaft through the differential case and differential pinion gears , aligning the hole in the differential pinion shaft with the lock bolt hole. Apply Rear Axle Lubricant to differential pinion shaft lock pin . Install differential pinion shaft lock pin and tighten to 20-41 Nm (15-30 lb-ft).
CAUTION: Differential pinion shaft lock pin must be tightened to specification using Stud and Bearing Mount E0AZ-19554-BA (WSK-M2G349-A1) or equivalent.
NOTE: Axle housing cover must be installed within 15 minutes of application of the silicone rubber or new silicone rubber must be applied. CAUTION: Make sure machined surfaces on both axle housing cover and rear axle housing are clean before installing the new silicone sealant. Inside of axle must be covered when cleaning the machined surface to prevent axle contamination. Tighten the cover bolts in a crosswise pattern to ensure uniform draw on axle housing cover .
Apply Silicone Rubber D6AZ-19562-AA or BA (ESB-M4G92-A or ESE-M4G195-A) or equivalent. Install axle housing cover and tighten retaining bolts to 28-38 Nm (38-52 lb-ft).
Add Motorcraft Rear Axle Lubricant XY-90-QL or KL (ESP-M2C154-A) or equivalent until it is 6-14mm (1/4-9/16 inch) below bottom of fill hole. Add 118.3 mL (4 oz) of Ford Additive Friction Modifier C8AZ-19B546-A (EST-M2C118-A) or equivalent to Traction-Lok axles. Install fill plug and tighten to 20-41 Nm (15-30 lb-ft).
Insert Rear Bearing Remover T85L-1225-AH in bore and position it behind bearing so tangs on tool engage bearing outer race. Remove rear wheel bearing and inner wheel bearing oil seal as a unit, using Impact Slide Hammer T50T-100-A.
Rear Disc Brake Caliper Anchor Plate
Lubricate the rear wheel bearing with Rear Axle Lubricant.
Install rear wheel bearing into the housing bore using Axle Tube Bearing Replacer T78P-1225-A.
CAUTION: Installation of rear wheel bearing or inner wheel bearing oil seal assembly without proper tool may result in an early bearing or seal failure. If inner wheel bearing oil seal becomes cocked in bore during installation, remove it and install a new one.
Install the inner wheel bearing oil seal using Axle Tube Seal Replacer T78P-1177-A. Use Premium Long-Life Grease XG-1-C or K (ESA-M1C75-B) or equivalent between the lips of the inner wheel bearing oil seal .
