Question about 1999 GMC Suburban
MY WATER PUMP WENT OUT WITHOUT ANY WARNING. I NOTICED THE SHAKING THEN. 2 MECHANICS TOLD ME I NEED A NEW ENGINE. IT RUNDS FINE WHEN I GET ON THE FREEEWAY, BUT WHEN I EDLE IT SHAKES. I DON'T WANT TO BUY AN ENGINE UNLESS I HAVE TO.
Sounds like you have damaged the engine, you will need to have the engine checked for a blown head gasket, this is not a new engine, but it will be expensive to fix if the gasket is blown, which I suspect it is.
