Question about 1997 GMC Sonoma
Ever time it rains the truck hesitates.I change the cap and it is only a temp fix.Is there a way to fix so i do not have to change cap twice a year.
this engine the 4.3L has problems like this due to cap seal. sometimes the rubber seal isn't in the box with the new cap and doesn't get put on. therefore causing condensation inside cap and hesitation. unfortunately i see it on astro vans where i have to removed the engine bay cover inside the vehicle.
On another note sometimes wet spark plug wires will cause same problem
