Windows won't roll up

I have a 2004 f-150 crew cab and all the windows will roll down but none of them will roll up. Any ideas? I thought it was the switches but that didn't fix anything.

I try and just keep hitting the switches to get them to go up and sooner or later they will go up. Kind of like hitting it in a morse code. Everyonce and a while it will catch and go up. i have checked all the contacts of wires and plugs and everything seems to be ok.

I can keep hitting the switches(say on the drivers side door where the master switches are) kind of like Morse code, --- --- -- -- ---- ---- --- . I just kind of keep hitting it as I am driving down the road and every once and awhile it will go up. I have checked all the contact points of wires and such because it seemed that something wasn't making a good contact but everything seems to be fine.

Turn the truck upside down and roll them 'down ' again.....
or,,,, test powers and grounds to the switch cluster master at drivers door..then at each switch at each door, after fuses are checked and are good....how do you get them back up to check if they go down?....by hand? hard to believe ALL are bad but this could be the regulators and/ or motors at each door failing

more then likely a bad connection on the switch or motor. pull out switch and look for signs of corrosion. they get wet from rain while the window is down

What can be causing my radio to go off and my windows not roll down

Check to see if the radio and windows have a fuse that is properly inserted. A damaged socket could cause this problem due to a bad connection.

If they happen simultaneously, this could signal a problem in the harness.

Have an electrical auto shop check it out. The labor is worh it.

1996 ford f 350 rear right power window wont roll back up we rolled it all the way down now its stuck down

Try tapping lightly on the door panel in different places, while the key is on,and holding the window switch in the up position.sometimes, that will jar the motor and the window will work.

Ford F350 Crew Cab Power Window Problem

Did you check for power at the switches. Are you sure the fuses are ok. Sometimes the wires break because of opening the door. You will have to inspect the harness and maybe have to remove the door panel. Most likely its a driver door wiring issue or the fuse.

Power Window in a 2001 GMC Sierra Extended Cab

i just changed my unit on drivers side door man it was a pain well first it started off with not going at all i thought it was the motor but motor was good the wire was just getting hung up because the plastic piece broke on the track,so first disconnect motor from track and hit switch to see if it turns, and if not then replace motor,be careful not to loosen the cable.you almost need it exact tension for the track to work right.
