1999 GMC Savana Heater

The heater in my 1999 GMC Savana was heating intermittently, now it doesnt heat at all.

Need to check your coolant level, that is the first culprit...It has to be full in order to circulate in the heater core...

Heat not hot enough


Make sure blend door is opening all the way.When you have selection on hot,the door should be open to the heater core and the air recirculation should be open.Have it blow out in vents.

2000 savanna 02 heater circut


Dear Sir:

1) See if the fan is running 2) Test the fuse is o.k and see if the fan is working now after replacing the fuse or c.breaker 3)test the hose coming from heater core is heating now.

Heat sometimes works in 2003 envoy


First I recommend checking that your coolant level is good. Please check this cold so you don't risk getting burned. I have seen too many heater complaints where the coolant level was simply too low to fill the heater core. Next, you should check if the heater control valve is operating. I don't have any GM experience, but heater valves are often the cause of intermittent heater operation in many cars. Good luck!

'99 GMC Savana rear heat leaking


I would replace the section of hose with the hole in it. Or you can replace the entire line, but would be rather involved.

2002 GMC Savanah van's heater does not work.


should be on the passenger side on one of the heater hoses. make sure its open, also make sure both hoses are warm,

Heat only blows cool air


check the coolant level and see if its low and your thermostat...if your coolant is low it wont allow heat to get through
