Question about Hyundai Elantra
Have you checked the MAF and/or TPS sensor?. I have had the same issue before on the same kind of car and it turned out to be the MAF sensor.

If the car has a distributor pickup or ignition module which steps up the voltage under heavy acceleration that may be bad.gnition
