Check your fuel pressure regulator on your fuel rail. The regulator will go bad causing this vehicle to act this way.

The car start, run ,and you can turn it off it take about 30min. Before it start back up.

Consider replacing the crankshaft positioning sensor. A crank sensor is an electronic device used in an internal combustion engine to monitor the position or rotational speed of the crankshaft. This information is used by engine management systems to control ignition system timing and other engine parameters.
The simplest and most obvious symptom of a failing crankshaft position sensor is the blinking "check engine" light in your car.
According to Do It "When the crankshaft position sensor begins to fail, the signal it transmits to the vehicle's computer begins to weaken. If left unattended, the signal will switch off completely. This, in turn, causes the car's spark plugs to die out, killing the engine. If you are having problems starting your car, it could indicate bad crankshaft position sensor".

Of course this may NOT be YOUR problem, but it sounds like it could be, doesn't it?

My check engine light came on and the motor seems to be shaking? I drive about 30min to work and about 30min home, so I'm not sure if I will have time to take it in before I go to work? What seems to...

It is most likely a misfire, especially if the engine light starts flashing. Most misfires are due to the secondary ignition system wearing out (spark plugs and wires). I would replace the spark plug wires first as they are the more common cause, but it's a good idea to replace the plugs too.
**Note - if the engine light is flashing, it indicates catalyst damage at that time. Driving a vehicle for prolonged periods with the engine misfiring will result in catalytic converter damage.

02 bmw 3 series. One in ten times when you try to start car thier is no compression

hav u used a compression tester on the vehicle-must read values to confirm--it may be other things that appear to be the problem-if there is a low reading then rings/valves/oilpress or heads are of concern

1999 grand cherokee stop running of the engine after 30mints from

you need to change your distributor module . The module gets hot and won't allow it to send spark to the plugs until it cools. Ask a person at your local parts store and they will show you the module and show you how to install it.
