Does the vehicle rev up to about 2k RPM and then die? Does it do this every time, meaning can you start the vehicle every time but then dies? Was there any other things happening before or several different things? Example - black smoke out tail pipe, would not hold a steady speed and jerked or hesitated? If you answered yes to these questions it is a good chance the vehicle computer needs replacing. (I had the same issue, different vehicle).
Since work was recently done to the vehicle I would look to see if any connections were left unplugged or inadvertantly knocked loose. Make sure to check the battery terminals and cables to ensure tightness and a solid connection.
ok, i tell you 3 possible causes.
check maf sensor connection , check fuel pressure regulator (max press fuel in rail 40 psi) , check engine compression (min 95 psi ) if less this cause spark plugs wet and not start
