Question about 2002 Nissan Altima
My daughter has a 1993 nissan altima GXE and the engine would bearly turn over after it stalled getting off the expressway. A mechanic said the timing chain was off. Well he changed the top chain, wont start, changed the bottom, wont start, now he said the engine has no compression, need new valves is his advice, should I stop at the hundreds of dollars I spent so far, or is it possible that repairing the valves will do the jobs.
How many miles on engine?
..stop, get quotes for rebuilt complete ../and complete low mileage used motor to compare before spending any more money
