Question about 1996 Ford Mustang
I have a 1991 Ford Mustang GT Conv. I changed the cluster since the gas guage and the temp guage were not working, and the speedometer was jumping. The gas and temp guages are working now but the speedometer is still jumping all-over. What is the problem?
You better check the connector to the speedo and cluster, either you bent a pin or damaged the printed circuit, or the connector is not locked properly.

speedo inner cable sticking in the outer, take the head out and then pull the inner cable out clean it with an oily rag with a bit of gas on then oil it as you put it back in the outer casing
