Try checking the distributor!, If you have gas, power, tyhen check sapark or distributor, usually thats the case.

This situation recently happened to my girlfriend and it was the timing belt upon inspection all looked well but turning the engine over by hand found that the pulley grooving on the inside of the belt was peeled away.Also you may want to look at the alternator connections and verify they are in good shape.good luck.
