Remove the tcu, and check for leaking or burned lokking resistors. if you find them, simply go to radio shack and have them replace them for about 20.00 dollars

My transmission slips sometime but when cut it off an started back up it work fine an my d4 light blink sometime what's my problem

Sounds like it is getting stuck in D4. Which I would think is Automatic 4 wheel drive, I don't know what vehicle you have. If you have a switch for D4 start car and put in N then turn switch on then off again. Then put car in D and drive and see if that fixed it. If not check your manual for D4 issues. Blinking d4 light with intermittent speedometer

Usually it means the speed sensor in the transmission is failing.
The blinking light means your overdrive may not work.

D4 light on 94 accord blinking

It will blink a set number of times to tell you what diagnostic trouble code it has. I would first check the fluid to make sure it is still red in color and not too low just to make sure that your not doing any damage to the transmission by driving it. Then you can get a cheap repair manual like a "Haynes" manual from any auto parts store.
I hope this info helps!~subyguru~

D4 light on means transmission fault of some sort. Have the vehicle scanned as soon as possible, because it might be a minor glitch, and the transmission could be saved. Have in mind that these transmissions (1998-2002)are notoriously prone to fail around 60-80000 miles. If rebuilt with the remedial kit (i dont remember the proper name for this), the transmission tends to work normally.

My D4 light is blinking. I just put in a new transmission and engine, car seems to run fine. But why is my D4 light blinking?

The blinking D4 light indicates a transmission problem. If someone installed the trans and engine for you, bring it back to them to determine what the problem is, as it should be under some type of warranty hopefully. If you did the swap yourself, I would scan for codes (free service at parts stores) to see if any come up. Last, you could try disconnecting the neg. battery cable for about 10 minutes, reconnect, which should reset the computer and the light should go off. If it comes back on, there is some kind of problem still.

D4 blinking, spedometer not working, check engine light on

Hi, a few questions 1st. Did your mechanic check for engine codes? Is your Honda a v-6 or 4 cylinder?
The flashing D4 light indicates a possible transmission malfunction. You should avoid rapid acceleration until the cause of the light blinking is determined.
If you have the V-6, there is a diagnostic port to connect a scan tool to read any stored engine codes that have turned on the check engine light. This port is located behind the ashtray in the center console (most cars did not have this til 96).
If you have the 4 cyl engine, there is a service connector located under the dash on the pass. side. Inside the connector is what looks like a 2 wire plug should be attached. Take a paper clip, unbend it, and insert the 2 ends of the clip into the connector to 'jump' it. Turn the ignition switch to the on position (don't start the vehicle), and the check engine light will flash. Count the flashes, short flashes are for code #'s 1 to 9 (single digit code), a 2 digit code will be a long flash for the 1st digit, followed by a short flash for the 2nd digit. If there is more than one code, they will be separated by a pause. They will repeat so you can count them and write them down. Let me know what the code #'s are so I can help further. Curt

D4 gear lights ( dashboard ) starts blinking even I'm using other gears

The D4 light blinking is the vehicle computer telling you there is a transmission malfunction and transmission codes are stored in the computer's memory. The codes have to be pulled out manually unless it has an OBD2 connector.A transmission shop or Honda dealer can pull the codes.
