Question about 1995 Toyota 4Runner
Checked and changed actual r/rear switch with proven good switch. Did the same with the master switch. I can jump and run a hot wire to both motors and both go up and down. Changed the door control module behind the lt. kick panel with proven module and no difference. I believe the problem to be a bad ground, but not sure. Help!!!!
There is a saftey built into the tailgate that will interupt the ground to the switch in the center console with the tailgate open. This keeps the operator from trying to roll the window up with the tailgate open. If you have no ground to the rear window switch it is most likely the tailgate safety switch. If it is like my '88 it is built into the drvers side tailgate latch.
