Does it get louder the faster you go? and does it go away when you turn the wheel one way and not the other? 99.9% sure its your wheel bearing :) lmk if im right!

Why after I took my four wheel drive out the front wobbles? sometime and over 55 mph its making a loud humming sound?

For the wobbling. Can you feel the wobbling in the steering wheel? If so. 1 Check tires for knots or steel breaks, 2 bent rims. 3 Check lug nuts, Also check oil-grease in front end. Humming could very well be dry front end or bearing.

2002 tundra humming noise from front end while parked

That is your electric fan. Normal, especially in the summertime. Just make sure that you have enough coolant in your radiator, and that your engine temperature isn't abnormally high.

JUST GOT TWO NEW FRONT TIRES,(AND BALANCING). NOW THERE IS A CONSTANT NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT END AND GETS LOUNDER AS ITS ACCELERATED. SOUNDS LIKE A RUBBING OR HUMMING NOISE.

Sounds like a wheel bearing or bearings going bad.

Humming or 'howling' noises are indicative of a bad wheel bearing especially on acceleration.

Good luck on this repair.

Humming noise

My 03' avalanche was making the same huming sound. After checking everything that could possibly be making this noise from tires to wheel bearings to brake shoes draging and four different pro garages giving me four different answers, I finally checked the rear differntial only to discover fluid slowly seaping out of it. I'm told more than once' that this is an ongoing problem with some rear ends on these model trucks but chevy or GM will not take any responsabilty or acknolage any problems exist. This little non responsible action finally ended up costing me over $2300.00 out of pocket... SO' have the rear axle bearings checked and serviced asap before this happens to you...

What can i do the stop the "death wobble" in my 2001 suburban.

this sounds like a wheel bearing problem the easiest way to check is to jack up the front end until the wheels clear the ground grab the top and bottom of the wheel and move them back and forth and see if there is any slack in it.

Humming noise in front end of truck

I'm having the same problem with my 2006 Chevy 2500 duramax...The humming starts at 25mph and then gets less prominent and then at 50mph it gets more prominent and louder, then at 60mph you can hardly hear it.....I did notice a little bit of leakage where the front axel meets the from diff on the drivers side.
Any suggestions?
