Radio lights dim and go out when I hear a squealing sound

When I'm driving down the road I'll start to hear a squealing sound coming from the right side of the truck then the radio lights start to dim and sometimes go out....does anybody have this problem?

Hello Frankmaggart,
Thank you for choosing FixYa.com my name is David.
It sounds like the serpentine belt slipping possibly from either a weak belt tensioner or
your alternator may be trying to lock up look at your belt to make sure it is good and tight
and there isnt no signs of wear or cracking if all that looks good my suggestion is have your
alternator checked out at your local part store.

How do i know when my alternator is going bad

If the batt light is on, the alternator is not charging the battery.
If the battery won't hold a charge, it could be failing.
If you are having a specific problem with your PT Cruiser or Mustang, let us know what it is.

Clunk noise from front passenger side when

That noise sounds to me like a Ball Joint problem. I would check to see if you have fittings to grease the front suspention.
