Please help me

My 1992 buick lesabre wont start i have change :coil pack,module,mass air flow sensor, fuel pump work good and injectors work

    is there a tool to get broke nipples out .... i had a hose running in to what looke like my engine and the hose was attached to a nipple that broke off.. part of it was still in the hose but the other was still screwd into the block .... and advice on how to get that out ...???????????i dont want to knock it it the block

Had a p305 on my 2005 buick rendezvous engine light is on changed the coil pack. it still hard to start unless i mashed the gas. it stalls at the light


Starting Mode
With the ignition switch in the ON position, before engaging the starter, the PCM energizes the fuel pump relay for 2 seconds allowing the fuel pump to build up pressure. The PCM first tests speed density, then switches to the mass air flow (MAF) sensor. The PCM also uses the engine coolant temperature (ECT), the throttle position (TP), and the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensors to determine the proper air/fuel ratio for starting. The PCM controls the amount of fuel delivered in the starting mode by changing the pulse width of the injectors. This is done by pulsing the injectors for very short times.
Clear Flood Mode
If the engine floods, clear the engine by pressing the accelerator pedal down to the floor and then crank the engine. When the throttle position (TP) sensor is at wide open throttle (WOT), the PCM reduces the injector pulse width in order to increase the air to fuel ratio. The PCM holds this injector rate as long as the throttle stays wide open and the engine speed is below a predetermined RPM. If the throttle is not held wide open, the PCM returns to the starting mode .

why did you change mass air flow sensor ? do you have coil packs, any codes stored in ECM ? something is telling it to go full lean ! ? another sensor, OXYGEN SENSOR, MAP SENSOR ? aftermarket MAF sensors are garbage, you might need a stock , OEM , MAF !!!!!!!!! I would , my 87 buick gn boged when I replaced my MAF , I got a new OEM , STOCK , MAF, exact replacement, it ran wonderful !!!! again !

I have a 1992 buick lesabre and i replaced the spark plugs wires and all 3 coils as well as the mass air flow sensor and my engine is still shaking and stalling ..what could be wrong with it? please...


I have a 2002 Lesabre that had the same type symptoms. It ended up being the ignition control module. It cost around $150. It sits under the coils on my car. Had a somewhat large plug going into it. Not too difficult to replace.

97 buick lesabre 3.8 Idles rough and stalls out.


Fuel injectors go bad on these engines, you can find re manned ones for 30 bucks. If you have an engine light on get that read. Change your coil/wires/plugs also. Is the lower intake manifold gasket leaking coolant yet? You may want to get that replaced also. Check the TPS too (throttle positioning sensor) those will also cause your engine to act up
