Question about 1994 Honda Passport
I need to install a window motor and switch.
First you have to remove all the screws. There's either five or six across the bottom of the door, they might be covered with small cover...thingies which just snap out of place. Take out the door pull, should be two screws in the bottom. If your speaker is on the door, remove the speaker cover. Remove the cover for the light, and the screw behind the door handle. Then all you have to do is pop the panel loose from the retainer clips (careful not to break them). Lift the door from the side closest to the rear of vehicle, then just slide it out pulling towards the rear. Once you get open be careful, the wires from the window controls and door light are still attached; so you might want someone to help you with this. Disconnect the wires, and there you have it. To reattach, just reverse the process, making sure you have help when reconnecting the wires. Then once you have the panel reston on the door, just give it a few slaps to pop it back onto the retainer clips. I hope this helps.
