The fact that all lights work and engine cranks precludes a battery problem. This is not a satisfactory answer. Please read the entire comment."engine cranks but will not start or even begin to catch. No spark to distributor.

  • kmorgavi Nov 06, 2008

The lights work, the engine cranks fine, no power to coil, no spark to distributor. The battery is NOT the issue.

  • kmorgavi Nov 06, 2008

the image is too blurry to read. No belts are loose(timing belt intact and visible in operation through access port in cover) Other belts have no bearing on the issue but all are ok. No visible wires loose or disconnected. all accessable wire connections have been unplugged and checked. I am not a simpleton. I have performed a complete overhaul on my Stealth by myself.

Could integration relay cause a power loss to dash and power windows and ac fan

No 1 relay can't be responsibale for power loss in more then one circuit.
Its a bigger problem .But by bigger I mean its battery voltage a main feed .
Check your battery and all the connections amd the main junction box for lose and corrioded connections this could be something vary simple LOOK

Ford transit 110 T280 I've back smoke on excellaration and loss of power on inclines; could it be the EGR valve at fault ; also have management warning light on.?

Needs piston rings. You have lost compression so you are losing power. The oil is getting pasty the worn rings and entering the combustion chamber which would explain the black smoke and loss of power.

Power loss message, car not performing

this might have been caused by by a sensor developed problem.when this happens, the engine control box or ECU goes to fail safe mode /Limb home state.this enables you to drive to a safe place e.g home /garage.

Car will start up but shuts off while im stoping

no year?
which engine option? (size and cylinder count)
starts and runs hot or cold, or only fails hot and only stopping?
on newer cars, it has IMMO, (immobilizer) and does that, if the IMMO
is unhappy, it thinks you are stealing your own car.
it has a light. is it glowing to warn you, that it is ACTIVE?
if not IMMO its only (LOL 1 of 4 things ) (50 causes, but 4 groups)
to find it takes a simple test, using simple and cheap tools.

1: loss of 12b DC power. to the EFI system. (no spark or no fuel)
2: loss of engine compression.
3: lost spark , (do a 60k tuneup now,)
4: bad fueling.

the other causes of stalls , are EGR stuck wide open, the tuneup
this is listed, as, check EGR , we check it and clean it.

the iSC is sticking closed, this is the Idle speed control.
I just clean it and make sure it works.
in fact during a tune up, sparks, filters, we chean both the EGR
and ISC.

now the simple test of all just before it stalls
can you save the stall with a fast happy right foot.?????
the answer to the can really help
as can what do the dash lamps do, just before stall.
if car has dash voltmeter, that one meter solves #1 , in a heart beat.

While driving my isuzu wizard the dash lights all came on and my foot brakes dont work ne more. The dash lights that came on are 4wd, battery, engine and oil pan.

Hi,
The engine dies/turned off that's why the lights turned on on your gauge panel and brake stop functioning because of loss vacuum on your brake servo.
Hope that helps you out!

Power steering loss without warning while driving. this occurred 3 times on my way home today

Possible that the steering servo is not activating, check the drive to see if the assistance has stopped - if electrical motor assist or if the belt is loose on the hydraulics pump in the main drive.
Does any indication come up on the dash board- as warning light.

Slow start, has new battery, clean injectors, loss of power on hot days (will shut down and coast to a stop)

Bad fuel pump,a possible, on the shutting off issue.
Loss of power, most likely a separate issue.
Need a clean fuel filter. It should last two or three years or 30,000 miles though.

Power steering loss, overheating, dash board power

It sounds to me like the serpetine belt broke, DO NOT continue to drive it. The water pump (for engine cooling), the power steering pump, and the alternator (electrical system) are no longer operating. Have it towed to a shop or have someone put a new belt on it.

Power loss

I have had flickering dash lights and most of the time the whole car shuts down, we coast, and then it restarts itself!

I just traced wiring and found the main power cable from the battery almost burned through where it goes past a heat shielded tube on the engine. The braided fabric heat shield is burned through and the tube has bits of copper wire welded to it. I just taped it up and will test drive later. Check the main power wire where it leaves the battery and heads back past the engine.
