I did everything to my 1997 fuel pump, fuses, injectors, ASD, fuel relay still won't start ,i tried to jump start nothing , sounded like it was going to start when i used starter fluid but it didn't start ,fuel not getting to the motor

Starter fluid "is" a fuel the engine will fire until the starter fluid is exhausted.  I have the same issue my '97 stratus just had a fuel pump replaced and is having intermittant starting issues.  Sometimes shaking the car will make it work for a few hours but it is umpredictable.  The schrader valve on the fuel rail has vapor or no pressure.  The gasket on the tank appears to have been improperly replaced and leaks fuel if the tank is very full and car is on an incline.  The issue seems electrical however jumpering the fuel pump relay does not seem to fix the issue.  Voltometer readings in key on position at the relay are "Hot".  All i can think of is the following:

    1.  Poor or incorrectly routed wiring harness causing bad connection at pump.
    2.  Poor Ground pin on wire harness
    3.  Pinched return when tank was replaced.
    4. clogged (badly) fuel filter worsened by fuel pump replacement stirring up sediment.
    5. Worn or shorted wire from pump to relay
    6. Fuel pump is still bad.

Please help me narrow these down.

HAVE YOU TESTED THE FUEL PUMP RELAY? ALSO THE IGNITION SWITCH CAN CAUSE THIS. WHAT ABOUT THE VALVE TIMING, IS THE CAM BELT OK, HASN'T JUMPED?

IF YOU USED STARTING FLUID THEN FUEL IS GETTING TO THE ENGINE, CHECK THE TIMING BELT AND IF THAT IS OK CHECK AT THE SPARKPLUGS TO SEE IF YOU HAVE SPARK.

2006 dodge stratus looses power after running for a while

either your fuel filter or fuel pump is clogged from all the debris from the gas tank , you are going to have to change out the filter or empty your gas tank and pull your fuel pump out and change your filter on your pump out.

Car feels like it's bogging down during acceleration, also sort of stutters starting at 45 mph and progressively gets worse above that. I had the radiator, timing belt, and water pump replaced last week....

try replacing your fuel filter, With big temperature swings this time of year, condensation (water) forms in fuel tank, Prior to changing fuel filter run a bottle of STP gas treatment or a good injector cleaner through it.

I have a 2003 stratus and it wont start... Crank sensor???

In a HOT day,old battery and fuel pump will be the prime troublemaker.

You need to charge up the battery and check for 12.4-13.6V range.

How old is the battery?

Most are warrenty for 24,48 or 96 months.

====
Fuel pump motor portion will ran forever. But the plastic diaphragm will give out in a hot day.

Do a fuel injector pressure test. Below 40 pis is trouble.

Fuel filter should be change if the fuel pump is at fault.

ALL more gas until it's over 1/2 tank and re-test.

A weak fuel pump will take more effort to pull fuel from a near empty tank.

Good luck,

Dodge cummins won't start, fuel reaching injector pump but no fuel coming out of injector pump.

You said you have fuel flowing from the inlet line of the injection pump? But not at the injector lines?

Car won't start

You missed something, make sure the fuel pump relay is working and power and a good ground are present at the fuel pump, not just the connector to the pump.

1997 Stratus Won't Start

you probably ran it to low and sucked some trash out of the tank. try changing the fuel filter or put some gas in it because the little fuel you had in it probably evaporated over night.
