    Do you have the instructions? follow them exactly, fuse everthing, also make sure the alternator is a high enough rating to handle the extra draw or the battery will run dead after a few days.

Factory deck 2011 Mazda 6 sport how to install amp and subs

Using a line output converter (or high level inputs if the amp has them) follow wiring directions. Color code information can be found at modifiedlife.com or with a Google search. You will also need to run a power wire and remote trigger lead as well as rca cables (if you use a LOC) to the trunk. If you have no experience with this then I recommend having a shop install it. The $100to 150 is well spent to make sure you don't screw up any wiring in the car. If you still want to tackle it yourself there are tons of videos online. The basics are the same for every car.

How to hook up car radio to an amp when radio does not have RCA Jacks

They make a type of Amplifier that uses high level input from the speaker outputs. Contact a company called Crutchfield.com for details and prices. You ca also have a radio shop install preamp output RCA jacks to the factory radio, do an Internet search for shops that do this type of retrofitting.

I need the wiring colour codes for 2002 santa fe car stereo

Hi,

Basically the wiring of the large harness corresponds to the pins like this.

Starting in the upper right hand corner and working down the right side from A12 down to A1.

1=Left rear output-red
2=Left rear output-blue
3=Right rear output-black
4=Right rear output-yellow
5=empty
6=Left front input-black
7=Left front input-yellow
8=Left rear input-orange
9=Left rear input-green
10=Amp 'ON'-blue&orange
11=empty
12=Amp sensor-black&orange

Back up to upper left hand corner on the large plug

13=Right front tweeter output-red
14=Right front tweeter output-blue
15=Left front tweet output-red
16=Left front tweeter output-blue
17=empty
18=Right front input-red
19=Right front input-white
20=Right rear input-blue
21=Right rear input-red
23=Right front sub (+) output-yellow
24=Right front sub (-) output-black

The small harness is the same above with the upper right position being pin 1 going down to pin 4 then back up to the top for pin 5 down to pin 8.

1=Memory Power-Lrg White
2=Amp Ground- Lrg Black
3=Left front sub (+)output-yellow
4=Left front sub (-) output-black
5=Left front mid (+) output-white
6=Left front mid (-) output-brown
7=Right front mid (-)output-brown
8=Right front mid (+) output-white

Hope this will help you.

Thank you

I am trying to replace all the factory speakers in my 2003 mountaineer i think there is a sub i want to run all the aftermarket speakers to an aftermarket amp if there is a sub can i also run it to a amp...

no problem with replacing all speakers with ones that are compatable wth you new amp .. and that means the the speaker impedance has to be wtihin the range of what the amp can drive (like 4 ohm, 8 ohm, 16 ohm) .... the subwoofer needs inputs from both left and right channels .. it also needs its own amplifier and low pass filter .. this all may be built into your after market amplifier .. if so you will have an output marked sub (that will directly drive the subwoofer) .. or you may have a low level outdput marked sub that goes to your subwoofer amplifier if it has one .. .. sometimes the woofer has its own built in amplifier and filter .. it then just needs power and inputs from each channel .. since you are running 500 watt speakers, they likely already have a subwoofer component .. (speakers that extend down to 20 hz or lower .) if so, you may not need an additional sub-woofer .. just make sure all the speakers are phased correctly .. (wired to work together not fighting each other ..) .... an amplifier capable of driving 500 watt speakers can draw peak currents that are very high .. so power wiring would have to be very heavy and preferably go directly to the battery with an inline fuse right at the battery ..

Check ALL the ground wires. Did you use a fuse block power source for the subs?

2001 Audi A6 how to bypass the original amp

Hi there,

The stock amp (mounted inside the sub enclosure) found on the RHS of the boot behind the pull out pannel has a red plug with 8 twisted pairs of wires and 3 other wires (pos, acc and earth).

Out of the twisted pairs you will have

RHS Rear Speaker: Blue/Gray +, Gray/Blue -
LHS Rear Speaker: Red/Gray +, Gray/Red -

You will also have a pair of White/Blue and Brown/White which is the RHS input and a White/Red Brown/White pair for the LHS input. Although... the stock amp uses a common earth input as you will see, the two Brown/White wires going into the same plug.

To put in another amp, you will need one with 'high level' input. Make sure it can take a common ground type input. If it cannot then just use a "high level to RCA" converter.

If you are putting in an after market headunit like i did, then you will just need to separate the two brown/white wires at both ends. If you do this you will need to test which brown/white wire at the head unit end is paired with which wire at the amp end. They are twisted together at the amp end but not at the headunit end (unless you cut the cloth tape back far enough).

Does you sub amp have an RCA out on it? If it does you can use that one, If not go to radio shack and pick up and rca spliter. It has two input holes white and red/ leftor right and turn it in to four outputs or 2 other channels. Good Luck.
