I have a 95 Bonneville that I always add fluid to the p/s resevoir is actually pretty deep past the belt on the passengers side. It may be a little difficult to screw off the first time.

On the passenger side of the engine, where the accessory drive belt(serpentine belt) is located, you'll find the P/S pump(close to the top of the engine). You have to check the P/S fluid with the dipstick in the reservoir. The dipstick is part of the reservoir cap. The reservoir itself is integral with the belt driven P/S pump. The dipstick should have a "full" indication, and a "low" indication separated by hash marks. As long as the fluid is within the hash marks, you should be fine. I hope this helps.
