92 chevy idles real fast on cold start up, then after run warming up runs fine

Not an uncommon issue for one to idle fast while cold but , 2000 rpms is a little higher than normal. May want to check the engine coolant temperature sensor for proper voltage and the coolant level. Also, check for small vacuum leaks around the throttle body gasket.

Why does my mazda millenia ildle so high and theres no check light on

The most simple reason is a vac leak or a faulty idle air control valve.
The computer controls idle speed by the amount of air allowed into the throttle body.
The throttle plate could be stuck open, or the idle air valve could be stuck, or you could have a large vac leak.

Self-adjusting idle brain often idles 1500-2000rpm range.

Faulty oxygen sensor or low fuel pressure can also cause these codes to be set. I'd go for a fuel pressure test when acting up if at all possible just to confirm I have pressure needed. Have heard of coil problems as well. Should be a good blue 1" min. spark from coil.

On 1994 escort with auto,1.9 idle races to 2000rpm at idle

Have your car scanned for a code. At AutoZone or similar stores they will do it for free. It could be a variety of things that are wrong.

Engine idle trouble

that is not a probelem it is the fuel system warming the engine and turbo
you should always warm up a turbo car before jumping in and taking off and cool the engine before shuting it off turbos are the most temprelental engine part there is. those steps will prolong the life of the turbo and engine. my starion with the g54b 2.6 does the same thing

Fast idle

I have a similar problem which seems to stop ,if after 20 mins of driving or warmed up engine if you stop for 10 mins the revs die to a more normal 1500 revs! it is a spanish car now living in theUK I think the problem is choke related.
