2006 and 2008 Tires making wabbling noise

Hi all! Need some help I have 2 Tributes 1(06) and 1(08) 06 has 60K and 08 has 50k ... after a service and tire rotation both cars have a sound coming from the tires there is a very slight vibration in the steering wheel also, Mazda dealer says this is because of the tread and would go away guess what it did not! After several visits they basically told me they can't do anything. Can anyone offer some insight?

It sounds like you have a wear pattern in the tires. If the tires wear rotated from left to right this problem will be exacerbated because they are going in the opposite direction. If you can't live with it then rotate back to the original positions or replace tires

Loud Thumping noise while driving but not bad tires

could be lots of things. why not get live help.

we are blind here and can\'t hear, it feel it or touch it.

we use an electronic stethoscope to find all noises hard to find

or dangerous to find, by other means.

if it only makes noise, moving that be, dangerous.

i guess you never jacked up a wheel and spun it by hand?

or grabbed it by hand 3 and 9pm and felt the play>

this is 1 test if many testd. to find noise, all inspections.

bad bearings do as they want, ! sound wise.

bearings that have play are a good sign of bad. we check that first.

and there are like 10 levels of bad. there. so.? and 10 noises....

no mileage on car stated? 50k or 200k?

or if you ever get it serviced, do you?

finding noise causes is an art

even the FSM has noise page for cars. many do.

there are 3000 parts on the car, any can make noise moving.

finding it takes skill and tools and PPE and safety precautions.

i\'d take this car to a suspension and brake shop

not just a brake shop,,

they will find this easy.. I promise.

if not post.

lets see.

  • brake issues

  • suspension issues or damage

  • U-joints or CV if applicable.

  • wheel bearing noise.

  • tire noise.

  • Loose parts anywhere on car and making noise from normal driveline vibrations... (sympathetic vibs)

  • tranny noise.

  • transfer case noise.

  • loose exhaust parts.

  • axle noise. or axle gear noise or LSD noises. or?

the first step is to find the exact location

and the stethoscope, rules this world. 100x.

hope that helps.

I have a 2009 Ford F150 2wd. I added a 2 1/2 leveling kit with 34 in tires and 20 wheels. When I turn it makes a sound like its rubbing. I eventually took it to a brake service center and was told that...

first check its not the tyres rubbing on the mudflaps/wheelarch.or even the inner wing(fender)YOU NEED TO GET SOMEONE TO TURN THE WHEEL HARD OVER WHEN YOUR UNDER THE CAR TO SEE WHATS TOUCHING.......the abs/electronics is just garage ********......

the 50k service is about $500.00, its inspecting the evap system and fuel system then replacing trany filter and replacing fluid to trany, replace air filter and rotate tires, then check a few other things like front end . this also depends on if the truck is driven in normal conditions or severe conditions like high heat and dirt.

2006 toyota corolla just came back 50k service now will not start

Sounds like your alternator is letting go, because your battery is not charging, and this would mean that you could probably just make it home before the juice runs out. Get your alternator checked out, if your car has 50k, this should be under warranty, otherwise could cost hundreds to replace/repair.

Grumbling Noise

yes it could cause the noise also having 80% tread is not good on the transfer case as it will constantly be putting stress on it. replace your fronts with matching tires and the noise should go away
