Question about 1997 Acura CL
But teh car is running fine? What could this be? i didn't always use premium gas could this be it?
No, it's not the fuel you used. Using fuel that doesn't meet the octane rating on the gas door will potentially cause problems, but you will hear a pinging on hard acceleration.
Take the car to autozone or another parts store that will read the OBD II (for free, call and ask before you go) diagnostic codes that will tell you what the problem is. This should turn off the maintenance light too, you should do the maintance as recommended in your manual or you will face greater expense in repairs.
