Parking lights problem on my Kia Sorento 2003

I have a problem with my parking lights. They don't turn on. All the fuses are ok. When I turn the parking light switch, The dash lights comes on but not the four parking lights. The fog light also does'nt turn on. Probably due to the same problem because the parking lights have to be open to utilise the fog lights. Any solution???

Ok Maybe it's going to help somebody, I find the problem. It's the Unit DRL (Day Runing Light) control. Just have to unclip the little door on the side of the dash, driver side, it's the little black box holding with a nut right there. Dealer price.....$156.73. They charge 45 minutes to replace it but it take about 5, so do it yourself. Hoping it's going to help.

Why won't the dash lights come on

A number of reasons that dash lights will not come on. Let us start with the first. Do the parking lights come on on the outside of the vehicle when turning the switch on? If so, then I would suspect that you most likely have a bad dimmer switch. That is the switch that dims the dash lights. They commonly go out.

If the parking lights are not on then I would suspect a parking light fuse. If parking light fuse is good then I would suspect a headlight switch.

Most likely, based on experience with Neons, it is usually the dimmer switch. You can buy a dimmer switch on the internet or at your local auto parts store for a relatively decent price.

Hope this helps.

When I turn on my headlights the dash board goes black. The dimmer switch is not the issue

The dash lights are connected to the park lights. Check to see if the park lights come on. If no park lights, suspect a fuse or wiring issue. If park lights are ok, try slapping your hand on the dash area above the instrument panel to see if the lights come on/flicker. If there is a change, the instrument cluster assembly/electronics are the most likely cause of this problem

Rear brakes on 2011 kia sorento

You will likely find there are two bolts holding the calipers on the 2011 Kia Sorento. You can check this by parking your Sorento, setting the parking brake to be sure it won't roll and carefully lifting and removing one of the rear wheels, just like you are removing a flat.

When you remove the wheel, you should find that the brake caliper carrier is accessible on the rear top of the wheel assembly. Simply reach around and carefully feel the carrier assembly and you should feel a couple of bolt heads because two bolts are generally used to hold down Kia rear calipers.

IP Brake light has come on in my 2004 Kia Sorento.. what does this mean?

Kia Sorento parking brake or brake fluid dash warning light - this light is illuminated when the park brake is applied, the warning light should go out when the parking brake is released. If the light does not go out it indicates that the brake fluid level in the reservoir is low and you need to pull over and top up at your first opportunity.

1-check parking brakes not applied
2-check brake fluid
3-if it is too low have the brakes checked they might be wearing out it doesn't mean you have a leak but when the brakes wear out the become thin causing the caliber piston to push out more lowering the oil level in the reservoir

1994 dodge dakota my headlights and tail lights and brake lights don't work my abs and parking brake lights are on my dash lights don't work either I replaced the headlight switch and still no

These are all different circuits. The brake lights are on a 10amp fuse - the headlights are on a 50amp fuse - and the parking and dash lights are on a 20amp fuse.
Do you have power going into the headlight switch and the brake light switch ?
