It could possibly be a problem with your torque converter in your ******. Its definitly worth taking it to a transmission shop to get it checked out.

SOURCE: 1999 F250 only goes in reverse, no forward gears.

I believe that reverse is operated by a brake band. So it seems to be stuck. It is operated by a piston, and the seal could have swelled and caused too much friction. But you could loosen up the adjustor so that it is disengaged, in order to get forward gears again. Perhaps you can force the piston to retract as well, once you drop the pan again.

Automatic transmission won't catch any gear?

Check trans fluid levels, if this is ok, could be a torque converter or valve body solenoids issue.

I have a 1998 Oldsmobile intrigue (automatic). The car drives fine in reverse, however when I put it in drive, the car does not move. You have to rev the motor up real high for it to move an inch. Any...

The transmission is nearly dry. Add some transmission fluid! Automatic transmissions require oil pressure for the car to move, and if you don't have enough oil in it, it won't build up enough pressure to move the car

I recently change my 2000 honda passport tanny and is not working forward i tried D 3 2 and L but only reverse is working

You need to check the level of automatic transmission fluid in it. If there's not enough fluid, then the transmission won't go into gear because not enough pressure is built up.
