SOURCE: How do remove drivers side door panel

First you need to remove the door handle and window crank by pushing back the ring and releasing the handles. Also the arm rest will have screws into the steel door frame that must be removed. The panel itself has plastic snaps that are pushed into holes in the doors steel frame. The trick is to slide a pry bar or even two is better, one on ether side of the clip and force the pin out. You need to be patent and do one at a time. The door panels are made of a less than hard strong material and will brake apart easily especially if they are older. The clips go all the way around the lower three sides and the top will lift off the sill.

SOURCE: How do I remove the front door panel to replace the mirror

Normal 0 Disconnect your negative battery cable. Locate and remove the screws that hold your interior door handles in place (they may be hidden by snap in, or snap on clips). Remove the interior door handles, then disconnect the wire clips to the switches. Your panel is held in place by snap in clips; use a small pry bar to pull them from the door (try to get as close to, or directly under the clips to prevent them from tearing out of the door panel). Once the clips are pulled, pull the panel upward to remove it from the door.
Install in reverse.

If you don't have power windows you will have to remove the manual window crank. It is held in place by a clip on the back side of the base. To remove the clip, you will need a small hook (kind of like a knitting needle). Put the hook in behind the base, and grab the clip and pull it off. To replace it, slide the clip back on the window crank, and snap it back on the door.

SOURCE: I need to replace the 99 buick century side mirror

There is a small plastic piece (triangular shape) at the top of the door panel, opposite of the mirror. It is held in place by a plastic clip. You can gently pop that out, with a flat blade screwdriver or something similar. That will expose 3 bolts with nuts on them. On my 2000 Century, they are 10 mm. Take off those three nuts, and the mirror will come off.

SOURCE: how to remove passenger door panel on 97 lesabre

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can remove the bolts holding the mirror on

SOURCE: How do you install side mirror infiniti m45 2003.

If you're lucky, on the inside of the door, will be a triangular panel right behind the mirror that you can pop off. If you're not as lucky and it's one piece or the panel is blocked by the door panel, you'll need to remove the door panel to change it.

On the inside trim, you can remove screws (these screws may be covered by filler pieces or may be visible, or they may require you pry a plastic piece off that covers the screws) that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can remove the bolts holding the mirror onto the door

How can I change the mirror control panel?

Hi there,

Firstly, get a replacement switch. Carefully take off the cover of the door handle (mine is the diagonal kind - 2002) and then unscrew the two screws at the top and bottom of the handle. Then Unscrew three screws at the very bottom of the door panel - they are the "star" kind - a tork screw. Carefully pull out the snaps on the sides of the door panel. They just pop out of holes in the door frame. Be carefull not to pull too fast or suddenly. Then pull straight up on the door panel. It can be very sticky at the top but gently work it out of the rubber slot at the top. OPTIONAL: Now that the panel is free, disconnect the electrical and door pull cables. Make a note of what connected where! You can skip this step if you can do the next step in a tight spot... You'll see the assembly for the door handle, lock, and mirror switch. There is a screw by the door handle. Unscrew that, then carefully pry open the clips that hold the assembly in. The whole assembly will come forward out of the door panel. Now, carefully unclip the mirror switch. It will come forward out of the assembly. Place the new switch back in its place, and re-clip. AT THIS STAGE, RE-CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL WIRE TO THE SWITCH AND TEST! Replace the assembly back in the door panel. Replace the screw by the door handle and re-connect the wires and cables. Then "Hook" the top of the door panel on the rubber slot. You can check the other door to make sure it's right. Carefully snap back in the sides of the door panel then reconnect the three screws at the bottom. Finally, replace the two screws in the door handle, and replace the door handle cover.

Best of luck

Unfortunately, you have to take the whole door panel off to replace it,
the door panel instructions are really simple as long as you have two people the only issue which is diificult is getting the door release cable back in - just a little tricky. Good luck!

Need to replace Mirror Assembly, 03 suburban

Your going to have to remove the inside door panel to get to the three bolts that hold the out side mirror assembly. Once you have the door panel off you'll see the three bolts that hold the mirror assembly, just un-bolt and un-clip the wire harness to the electric/heated mirror. To install the new mirror assembly, just do everything in reveres. Go to Auto Zone and by extra door panel clips, there is a good chance of breaking some of the retainer clips and Auto Zone will have the step by step instructions to replacing the mirror assembly and the removal to the door panel. Good luck and keep me posted. Be glad to help.

remove the door panel with out breaking the hook style plastic clips by un doing any phillip screws holding the doors pull handle, and maybe a couple of lower retainer screws, remove the power window and power lock switchs from the doors handle than pull lightly on the bottom of the door panel . if it feels loose it should pull out about 2 inches.than slide the whole door panel straight up and off the door it self. now you can unclip the power mirror wire connector and remove the mirror itself from the upper corner of the door
good luck chris
