From the bottom with fuse 1 being closest to the door
1 - Radio 7.5A , Wiper 20A , Engine 10A , Next row up - cig lighter 15A , Gauges 10A , Ignition 7.5A , Next row up Turn 10A , Stop 10A , Tail lights 10A , Next row up Defog 15A.

However if you just want to install a CB find an ignition live under the bonnet and run it from there with an inline fuse or direct from the battery using the same. You will not flatten the battery as if the CB is off it draws no power. Another option is to piggy back the ignition live from the radio cassette !.

The rows described are up and down not across. I would say they are columns 1,2 and 3 working from the door toward the front of the truck. Column 1 bottom closest to door= (Radio), up one (wiper), top row of this column, (Engine). Column 2 bottom= (cig lighter), up one, (gauges), top row of this column, (ignition). Column 3= (turn), up one, (stop),top row of this column, (tail lights)
    Above all other fuses= (defog)

If you still have the owners manual check the index there is always a fuse diagram in the manual. I have found they are usually more descriptive as well. A manual and fuse cover are both still available for this truck at the dealer.

How to remove rear panel cover

wow a CB, havent done them since 1965. (i worked at REACT)

or smokey and the bandit era,

even truckers use CELLS now.

but CB is good for hunting. (and SSB is #1 way)

better is hand held, long range, handy talkies. DSS tech. (even sold at walfart or for sure any sports stores)

The best antenna is a long whip, longer is ALWAYS better.

and mounted to the rear bumper.

Mounted there, the signals will be very strong from across top center of car. (I used to do military , field tests for signal mapping of antenna\'s) (and searching for lost folks with CB in cars, triangulation and directional loops etc, way before GPS , made folks brave, in the woods.)

rear panel cover (of what) are you inside the cab>?

im and expert in tuning any real radio transmitter,

we tune for lowest SWR.

the FSM covers all this. about all panels buy a used FSM

off ebay

or try and read the body sections.

most cars, panels inside come off after getting trim off.

door panels pop off

the key here is to remove the plastic without breaking it.

the $64,000 dollar question on all cars. a skill to learn.

I just login, and read.

but a pro, will proceed very carefully to find out which way the maker

did his craft.

no year stated, or exact model, only Pickup.

so cant look it up.
